  • We met!

    J Gumbo's

    She first contacted me on Louisvillemojo.com because I had an old photo of me with a mohawk and she liked it. We sent messages back and forth, talked a little bit, and met at J Gumbo's on June 17, 2007. She brought me a Nerf dart gun, we had lunch, and cruised over to the crematorium where we hung out for a while. At the end of our date, I gave her a little kiss in the parking lot and everything started to bloom with us.

  • Our first trip

    New Orleans, LA

    We flew out today to travel to a place I love and a place I hoped she would love. It was HOT! Very hot. Africa Hot. Tarzan couldn't stand that kinda hot.

  • We got engaged!

    Waianapanapa Black Sand Beach, Maui

    The weather was perfect. The blue sea crashing into the coal black sand made for a nice contrast, the wind was strong, the moment was right. Being a photographer, I was on my knee reaching into my bag to grab another lens (so she thought), and when she turned to look at me, I popped the question. It was the perfect place, the perfect time, and the perfect woman.
